Allu Arjun may finalize Bhaskar's film

Their first outing together did not work magic at the Box Office. Of course, it managed to scrape through in the first few weeks of its release, but it did not live up to the hype it had created before its release. We are talking about Parugu and the combination of Arjun and Bhaskar.

This, however, doesn't stop them for working together again. They will soon team up for a commercial entertainer. Bhaskar has reportedly narrated an interesting idea to Bunny and the latter has given his nod.

The film will go on the floors once Arjun is done shooting for Trivikram Srinivas' Honey. The actor's last film Badrinath did not do well. This seems to be making him to plan his career moves wisely.

MLA Ghanta Srinivasa Rao to produce films with Allu Arjun and Ram Charan

The lure of Tollywood seems to be irresistible for the politicians in the state. More so if you are a rich politician. The latest to join the production bandwagon list is Ghanta Srinivasa Rao. This MLA has announced that next year he will be producing movies with Allu Arjun and Ram Charan Tej.

This was revealed by none other than Geetha Arts producer Allu Aravind himself. Allu Aravind shared this details with the media while announcing that Kaikala Satyanarayana will be the recipient of this year’s Allu Ramalingayya’s smaraka award. The award ceremony will be held in Vizag today.

Previous winners have been Brahmanandam, Manorama and Johnny Lever. Allu Aravind also revealed that from the coming year Allu Ramalingayya smaraka awards will be coordinated and held by his grandsons Allu Arjun and Ram Charan.

Allu Arjun joins the fight against child labour

Telugu film actor Allu Arjun on Saturday vowed to fight for eradication of child labour in the State.

Participating in a sensitisation programme organised by the Labour Department and Federation of Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FAPCCI) for making “Secunderabad as child labour free zone”, he said over 47 lakh children across the State were not going to school.

Mr. Arjun said efforts should be made to improve the conditions of children working as child labourers and also ensure that they go to school. He appreciated the measures being taken by the State government and other organisations in eradicating the menace.

Labour Minister D. Nagender said the government was initiating various measures to eradicate child labour. Distribution of books, dresses and introduction of mid-day meal scheme in schools were some of the steps taken up for the benefit of children.
Inspections

Deputy Labour Commissioner S. Naresh Kumar said the department, along with the help of NGOs, inspected over 1,000 shops on S.P. Road and M.G. Road in Secunderabad and asked the managements not to employ children.

Of them, only four children were found to be working in a hotel and sweet shop on MG Road and garments showroom in a mall on SD Road.

“We have initiated action against the errant managements,” Mr. Kumar said, adding that a sticker with a slogan ‘No Child Labour' was affixed in the shops.

He said a separate sensitisation programme was also organised in schools and colleges in Secunderabad. A cultural programme was presented by the students of St. Ann's High School at the event.
